Joseph started his advertising career in Television as an actor. He is a graduate at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College, with postgraduate studies at the Art Center College of Design and University of Minnesota. A native of Aguascalientes, Ags., Joseph is member of a prominent family from the state of Zacatecas that has provided over 50 years of public service both locally and nationally. With 25 years of experience in advertising, public relations and direct marketing in 20 Latin American countries, Sweden, the Far East and the U.S. for companies such as Northwest Airlines, 3M, Neiman Marcus, Medtronic, Ford Motor Credit and JP Morgan Chase.

Joseph is responsible for creating “Go For The Gold”, an advertising campaign for The Associates in Puerto Rico tied to the 1996 Olympic Games developing all strategic and creative development. Joseph became a partner with Mary Kay Cosmetics’ public relations operation where he was responsible for bringing national and international accounts such as Dr Pepper/Seven Up and Las Brisas Westin Acapulco.

In the general market, competed successfully in Minneapolis against BBD&O, to help 3M introduce revolutionary products including Thinsulate to the U.S. and international markets. Thinsulate results: It became the “Flagship of the Fleet” for all winter clothing worldwide.

In Puerto Rico, competed successfully to acquire Ford Motor Credit account from Foot Cone & Belding (Siboney Hispanic division) FMC results: Increased their loan volume from 30% negative to 30% positive.

He also is recognized in the “Who’s Who” list in Corporate Report magazine in Minneapolis as Creative Director. Joseph was responsible for all strategic marketing in the U.S. Puerto Rico and Mexico.
